Tracing

Many people leave their address in order to avoid Creditors who are pursuing them lawfully in order to recover debts or serve legal process. At North Eastern Process, with the expert assistance of our close associates IAC Investigations we offer a high quality tracing service in order to track down your Debtors/Respondents to enable you to recover your lawful debts or to facilitate the service of your Legal Process.

Address Confirmation Enquiries

Many debtors ignore letters from Creditors or return mail marked ‘gone away’ when in reality they may still live at the address on your records. In these cases we can make a visit to the debtors address in order to confirm whether or not they still live at the given address or whether they have truly moved on. These simple enquiries can save you a vast amount of time and unnecessary expense in wasted trace enquiries.

Fee Structure

There are a number of companies out there in the market place who offer tracing on a ‘no trace, no fee’ basis. At first glance this may seem like an attractive arrangement. However, in order to make this ‘no trace, no fee’ arrangement profitable for them, the companies concerned will take in bulk tracing instructions. They will then spend as little time as possible checking a few simple publicly available databases and, if they get lucky and manage to trace the debtor, they charge a very high fee in order to cover any time spent on their many unsuccessful traces. Using these methods it necessarily follows that the success rate is very low and as no physical confirmation has been carried out, any results obtained cannot possibly be relied upon.

Where tracing elusive people is concerned the truth is that if you invest enough time and expense then just about anyone can be successfully traced. However, you cannot successfully trace and confirm the address of someone by computer database alone. Moreover, you certainly cannot give a high quality service based on a ‘no trace, no fee structure. A great deal more success is gained by using as many different sources as possible in order to achieve the objective. We use high quality up to date computer databases in conjunction with telephone and physical enquiries in order to trace people, using this methodology vastly increases the percentage of a successful trace.

Data Protection

Our tracing agents are all former Police Investigators/Detectives and Crime Intelligence Specialists and are therefore very skilled and fully up to date with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998, as a result you can rest assured that all our tracing is carried out lawfully sticking strictly to the principles of the legislation.
